HOW DOES IT HELP?
The main goal of the Pilates method is to
strengthen the center of balance, called "the
power house", namely the core of one's strength
that is made up ofthe abdominal muscles, glutei,
adductors and lumbar muscles.
These muscles work together to support the
spinal column, which in turn favors correct
posture for a balanced training of the entire
body.
The Pilates method harmoniously strengthens
muscles, improves articular mobility, aids cardio-circulatory and respiratory functions, favors
balance and posture control, aligns the body
with its center, and helps develop physical and
mental self-awareness.
